Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Ryan C. Taylor Periodontics & Dental Implants at (941) 499-8669; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. I had a wonderful experience during my deep cleaning appointment in Ryan C Taylor DDS PA office today. The front desk staff was warm, welcoming, and very patient in answering my questions and helping me with the check-in process. My dental hygienist, Kathleen, was exceptional. She carefully examined my teeth before the procedure and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire deep cleaning. She was attentive, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Her calm and caring approach helped me feel relaxed during the treatment. I’ve had deep cleanings at several dental offices over the years, and Kathleen is truly one of the best hygienists for my periodontal maintenance I’ve ever had. I feel very lucky to have found her. Highly recommended!

Had unexpected but necessary oral surgery. Immediately, my doctor referred to Dr. Nathan Estrin. Two years earlier I had been to Dr. Estrin’s office for an implant. No issues there. My insurance took care of most of the costs. This time, I went to him for an implant (not the same one) that got infected when food lodged below the gum line around the bone. As a consequence, I lost much of the bone. Fortunately, he was able to operate immediately after the evaluation – an appointment cancellation. I went home expecting a reasonable amount of pain – never happened. When he called me the next morning to check on me, I was pleased to tell him there were no issues and I was pain-free. Not sure if this implant can be saved but recognize the tremendous effort Dr. Estrin made to address the problem. Having worked in the medical community for a number of years, Dr. Estrin’s demeanor and character are the exception to the rule. Also, quite impressed that he took time out of his busy schedule to call me and check out my condition. Thanks, Dr. Estrin, for your kindness, genuineness, and professionalism.

My visit today to Dr Taylor’s office was pleasant and calming. I had a tooth extracted several months ago and returned today to discuss implant options. I had a lot of anxiety about this and Dr Taylor and Kim made me feel so much better and Dr Taylor is working with my dentist to formulate the best plan. I’ve been going to their beautiful office for over 10 years for perio maintenance and have had several procedures done! ! I would highly recommend! They are the best!

From the moment I walked in I knew this place was a problem, staff was rude about paperwork which I already completed and sent via email. Estrin. Moved down from Tampa so was looking for a closer perio. Of course I had to do a consult appointment before setting up with alternate cleanings (same arrangement I had at my perio in Tampa) $$$. Of course they wanted to take their own x rays even though I offered to provide recent x rays and my insurance wouldn’t cover new ones $$$. Of course they redo the perio chart and give higher numbers than the one I just had done in Tampa at my perio and higher than the primary dentist one done the week prior. Ultimately refused to do my alternate cleanings because I didn’t want expensive treatments they tried to upsell me on. All this places cares about is getting paid $$$$. Better off elsewhere.

I hate to write this review. It may be long.I was referred to Dr Taylor by my dentist. To see if I needed a tooth lengthening. She wanted an opinion since she was not positive I needed one. . When I called the office to set up appt , they set it up with A Dr Ross in Venice. . I went to the appt he looked in my mouth and set he needed too do it. So we proceeded with the procedure. He kept working on it for a very long time.i asked him dux the x rays shoe I needed this much work. He stated he never saw them..Went to back to my dentist she was aghast in how bad they looked. To make this shorter I had to keep going Bach to Ross time after time since it would not heal. Each time doing more work. My dentist said there was no way she could do crowns on his bad the work was. She referred me to another periodontal dentist. That agreeed the work needed to be redone. . He would do it for a reg fee . He also said it was so bad he could not guarantee that I would not lose these teeth because of all the trauma . Calked and met with Dr Taylor. He was also shocked at the work. And admitted he was having to redo Dr Ross work. And they had to part ways. He re did the work and it did turn out good.

I arrived at 7:45 AM to be met by a very courteous and energetic staff. I was ushered through the normal forms and preop photos by Kim, who is extremely nice to me which allowed me to relax for the upcoming procedure. X Rays and instructions were given to me and I was positioned in the operating chair. I was introduced to Dr. Taylor who is very kind and confident which allowed me to relax in about 15 to 20 minutes I had a tooth extracted and was given my postop instructions. A brief stop at billing and out the door by 9:30. I give this five stars and thank the staff and Dr. Taylor for a job well done ……more than I could’ve asked for !!! I now need an aspirin and a Nap because my tongue has worn me out chasing that stitch !!! My heartfelt thanks to Dr. Taylor and his very courteous staff!!!

I had a permanent dental implant procedure done with Dr. Estrin and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the staff was remarkable, professional, welcoming, and organized from start to finish. They made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. Dr. Estrin took the time to explain the procedure clearly, which immediately put me at ease. You can tell he knows exactly what he’s doing. The procedure itself was smooth, precise, and very well managed. What really stood out to me was the post-operative care. I left with a clear plan, the right medications, and zero guesswork on how to handle recovery. That made a huge difference. The following day I was feeling good and staying ahead of the swelling thanks to how well everything was set up. If you’re considering implant work, I highly recommend Dr. Estrin. The combination of skill, communication, and an outstanding staff made this a top-notch experience
